I’ve had this flag for years. My favorite ever album, it's been on my wall in so many homes of mine but for the last year it’s been tucked away in my closet.
My friends hung that flag up in my hospital room. I think it was supposed to make up for missing the Iron Maiden reunion tour with Bruce Dickenson. I had my ticket months in advance and I was super hyped for the show months before the tickets went on sale but crash- bang- burn -instead of going to the concert I was hooked up to tubes and tucked tightly into my hospital bed while my friends stopped in to say hello on their way to see MAIDEN without me:( Dan used my ticket and the boys brought me back a t-shirt. The boys were terribly sweet and sympathetic knowing how bad I wanted to go. I’m still broken up about it. I may not ever get over it.

I was planning on sewing the flag into a skirt, great idea 'cept I don't own a sewing machine. Spinning this into yarn was somewhat liberating. Maybe I have let it go?
I’ll post a yarn picture tomorrow. I have it soaking in the hot pot and I’m wondering if I should scrub it out or leave it smooth. hmmmm.
